- 4 slice thick cut bacon
- 1 cup uncooked pasta
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 clove minced garlic
- 1 tbsp butter
- 4 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook the bacon to a preferred doneness, crumble, and set aside.

2Cook pasta until al dente.

3In a non-stick skillet coated with cooking spray, saute onions and garlic until tender; set aside.

4In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour until smooth.

5Gradually add the heavy cream and milk and bring to a boil for one to two minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.

6Stir in 1 cup of the cheddar cheese until melted.

7Drain the pasta and add it as well as the bacon and onion mixture to the sauce, then stir to coat well.

8Transfer the mixture to an 8x8 baking dish coated with cooking spray.

9Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.

10Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
