  • 1 lb. loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
  • 8 oz. (2 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. real mayonnaise
  • 6 Tbsp. chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 4 Tbsp. sliced ripe olives

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    In small bowl, mix cheese, mayonnaise, onions and chili powder; stir until well mixed.

    Spread each half of bread with cheese mixture within 1/2-inch of the edges.

    Arrange olive slices over cheese.

    Wrap each bread half in foil.

    Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
