Cheddar Cabbage Wedges

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 1/2 c. green peppers
  • 1/4 c. onion
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 c. or 3 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. mayo
  • 3 Tbsp. chili sauce

Directions

    Cook cabbage in salted water 12 minutes or until tender; drain. Place wedges in 13 x 9-inch pan.

    In saucepan, cook green peppers and onion in butter until tender.

    Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk all at once.

    Cook and stir until thickened.

    Pour over cabbage.

    Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
