Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (regular or low sodium)
- 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice, to taste
Directions

1Melt the butter in a medium pot.

2Add the remaining ingredients and heat until simmering.

3Leave on very low heat while basting every 15 minutes or so.

4Use to baste turkey, chicken, cornish hens, or pork roast.
