  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°.

    Prick pie shell with fork, bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Reduce oven to 325°. Beat the eggs, cream, milk, salt and hot pepper sauce together.

    Spread the cheese over the bottom of the pie shell; pour in the egg mixture and bake 45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
