Ingredients
- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup butter
- 1 12 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Directions

1Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.

2Melt butter in a small saucepan.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir sugar into melted butter.

5Beat in eggs and vanilla.

6Stir in flour mixture.

7Mix in cheese, dates and nuts.

8Spread batter in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

9Bake at 350 F for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden.

10Cool.

11Cut into bars or squares.

12Makes about 28 depending on how you cut them.
