- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 tsp. dill weed
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Combine flour and sugar.

2Cut in butter until crumbled; stir in the cheese and dill.

3In another bowl, beat egg and milk; pour into dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.

4Batter will be very thick.

5Pour into a greased loaf pan.

6Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes until the bread tests done.

7Cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to rack to cool.
