- 3 3/4 c. buttermilk baking mix
- 1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 slightly beaten egg
Directions

1Combine baking mix, cheese, evaporated milk, water, nuts and egg.

2Mix vigorously for 30 seconds or until blended.

3Spoon into a buttered 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

4Bake at 350° for 40 or 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

5Serve warm or cold.
