Ingredients

  • 32 oz. shredded or chopped hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 c. melted margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 10 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated or Velveeta
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 green peppers, chopped (optional)

Directions

    Mix above ingredients together.

    For topping, mix 2 cups crushed corn flakes and 1/2 cup melted margarine together and sprinkle over top of potato mixture.

    Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.
