- 8 slices French or Italian bread
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 2 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Spread bread with soft butter and cut into cubes.

2Put 1/3 of bread into 2 quart casserole.

3Sprinkle 1/3 cheese over bread. Repeat 2 more layers.

4Beat all other ingredients and pour over bread and cheese.

5Cover and chill overnight.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

7Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
