  • 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 to 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 tsp. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted and divided
  • 1/2 c. bread crumbs or crushed corn bread stuffing mix

Directions

    In a bowl thoroughly mix corn, egg, milk, cheese, flour, sugar and 1 tablespoon butter.

    Pour into buttered 1-quart casserole dish.

    Toss crumbs with remaining 1 tablespoon butter and sprinkle over.

    Bake in 350° oven until pudding is firm, about 1 hour. Makes 4 servings.
