- 1/2 c. water
- dash of nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 c. sliced almonds
- salad oil (for deep frying)
Directions

1Place first 4 ingredients in 2-quart saucepan.

2Bring mixture to full, rolling boil over high heat.

3Add flour all at once. Remove from heat.

4Stir until mixture forms a ball and leaves sides of pan.

5Beat in eggs, one at a time, until mixture is smooth and shiny.

6Add cheese; stir to blend.
