- 1 c. softened butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 dash of cayenne pepper
Directions

1Cream butter with cheese.

2Blend in flour and cayenne pepper. Fold in cereal. Press into a buttered baking pan (8 or 9-inch baking pan).

3Bake at 375°

4for 20 minutes, or until top is crisp. Allow to cool thoroughly.

5Cut into bars and serve warm or cold. Stores well in refrigerator for several days.
