Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated (2 c.)
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 lb. margarine (2 sticks at room temperature)
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper or Tabasco sauce

Directions

    Combine flour, cheese, pepper and margarine.

    Mix well. Shape small balls and press out with fork. Bake on ungreased baking pan at 325° for 20 minutes.

    Can chill overnight and slice if you like.
