- 1 c. milk
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Beat together in a medium bowl the milk, mayonnaise, sugar and self-rising flour.

2If necessary, add a little more (no more than 1/2 cup) of the self-rising flour so that dough can be dropped from spoon and hold its shape.

3Mix in grated cheese.

4Drop by spoonfuls 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet in about 9 equal mounds.

5Brush tops a bit with butter and sprinkle with more cheese.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

7Dust with garlic salt to taste as soon as they come out of the oven.

8Makes 9 biscuits.
