- 3/4 pound freshly grated Cheddar cheese
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 18 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs made from whole wheat bread
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2Put cheese into the container of a food processor.

3Add the butter and flour and cayenne and blend thoroughly.

4Scrape the mixture onto a lightly floured board.

5Shape the dough into approximately 40 marble- shaped rounds.

6Roll each in the bread crumbs.

7Place the rounds one inch apart on a baking sheet.

8Place in the oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

9Let cool.

10The cooked biscuits may be frozen if desired.
