- 16 oz. box zwieback, crushed
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- juice and grated rind of 1/2 lemon
- 1 c. cream
- 1 1/2 lb. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/4 c. pistachio nuts
Directions

1Combine zwiback, 1 cup sugar, melted butter and cinnamon. Press mixture in bottom and on sides of greased 9-inch spring-form pan, reserving 3/4 cup for topping.

2Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy.

3Add salt and lemon juice and rind.

4Stir in cream, cream cheese and flour.

5Press until mixture is well blended.

6Pour over crust and sprinkle with reserved topping and nuts.

7Bake at 325° for 1 hour.

8Makes 12 servings.
