- 2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. pecans, ground
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne
Directions

1Combine cheese, butter and salt in food processor.

2Blend until smooth.

3Add flour and pecans and process until blended. Form dough into teaspoon-sized balls and place on greased baking sheets.

4Flatten with a fork, dipping fork in flour if necessary to keep from sticking.

5Sprinkle crackers with cayenne.

6Bake at 400° for 7 to 10 minutes, until just beginning to brown.

7Serve hot or cool to room temperature.
