- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 3 c. crisp rice cereal
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, cream butter until fluffy.

2Slowly mix in flour, salt and pepper.

3Stir in cheese and cereal.

4Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.

5Bake at 350° for 15 to 17 minutes or until lightly browned.

6Serve warm or cold.
