- 1 c. butter, softened
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. sifted self-rising flour
- 2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Directions

1Combine all ingredients in bowl.

2Mix well.

3Shape into small balls with floured fingers.

4Place on baking sheet (ungreased); press lightly with fork to 1/4-inch thickness.

5Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.

6Cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container.

7Keeps well ahead of time.

8Yields 6 1/2 to 7 dozen.
