  • 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup quick cooking grits
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese medium
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco Pepper Sauce

Directions

    In medium saucepan, bring stock and salt to a boil. Add grits and cook according to package directions. Remove from heat, add cheese, Tabasco pepper sauce and butter blending well. Stir in cream or milk, blend eggs into grits.

    Pour grits into lightly greased casserole. Bake at 350 F 30 minutes. Serve with grillades.
