- 1 lb. Gouda cheese
- 1 lb. cooked ham, 1-inch pieces
- 3 c. cooked rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Cut cheese into enough 1/4-inch thick slices to line bottom and side of greased 3-quart casserole to within 1-inch of top.

3Reserve remaining cheese.

4Mix ham, rice, soup, tomatoes, onion, green pepper and salt; pour into casserole. Sprinkle with walnuts.

5Shred remaining cheese; sprinkle over walnuts.

6Bake, uncovered, until hot and bubbly, 50 minutes to 1 hour.
