- 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, grated to yield 1 cup
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon onion juice
- 12 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry vermouth
- 1 teaspoon gin
Directions

1Put cheese in bowl and warm to room temperature.

2Mix with mayo and all other ingredients until well blended.

3Chill until ready to serve.

4Can serve as a spread, or spread on crackers and toast under broiler until cheese bubbles.
