- 1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns, thawed slightly
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 2 c. sour cream (1 pt.)
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped fine or 1 tsp. dry onion
- 2 c. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
Directions

1In large bowl, separate potatoes.

2Melt margarine or butter and pour over potatoes.

3In another bowl, mix the other ingredients and pour over potatoes and mix well.

4Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Top and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.
