Cheese Potatoes

  • 5 lb. potatoes
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • milk
  • garlic powder
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz

Directions

    Scrub potatoes with brush.

    Slice potatoes with skins on into about 1/2-inch slices.

    Boil in water about 15 minutes.

    Lay boiled slices into a greased 10 x 14-inch baking dish or pan.

    Dot potatoes with remaining stick of oleo.

    Liberally, sprinkle potatoes with garlic powder.

    Add pepper to taste.

    Mix 1 can of cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 can of milk (measured with same can).

    Pour over potatoes.

    Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove potatoes from oven and spoon Cheez Whiz over top and return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes more.
