Ingredients
- 2 (2 lb.) bags frozen hash browns, thawed (can use O'Brien or Southern style, also)
- 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. onion, finely chopped
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 c. cornflakes, crushed
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except half the butter and the cornflakes.

3Place into a 9x13-inch baking dish and pat down.

4Sprinkle with the crushed cornflakes over the potatoes.

5Pour the remaining butter over the cornflakes.

6Bake, uncovered, for one hour.

7Yield: 8-10 servings.
