  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 lb. grated sharp cheese
  • 10 slices bread, trim crust and cube
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

    Melt butter; add bread crumbs.

    Add beaten egg yolks, milk and cheese.

    Add dry ingredients.

    Beat egg whites.

    Fold into egg and milk mixture.

    Let set 12 hours in refrigerator.

    Bake in a 350° to 375° oven for 45 minutes or until set.
