- 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- unsliced white bread
- 2 egg whites, beaten stiff
Directions

1Melt cheeses and margarine together until mixture reaches fondue-like consistency.

2Fold in egg whites.

3Cool.

4Cut bread in 3/4-inch cubes.

5Coat each cube with cheese mixture by holding cube with fork and swirling on all sides, except bottom.

6Place plain sides down on waxed paper covered sheets and freeze.

7Transfer to bags for freezer storage.

8When ready to bake, arrange bread cubes still frozen, on baking sheets and bake in a preheated 425° oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
