  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground dry mustard
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 23 cup hot milk
  • saltine crackers or toast points

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a blender and whirl at high speed until smooth.

    Bring water to a boil in a double boiler, reduce heat to simmer, pour in ingredients from blender in double boiler.

    heat stirring occasionally with wire wisk until melted and hot.
