  • 2 large loaves thin white bread, cut off crusts
  • 1/4 lb. unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • garlic powder to taste

Directions

    Blend softened butter and grated cheeses.

    Add garlic powder. Using a rolling pin, roll each slice thin.

    Spread on mixture, not too thick.

    Roll up into logs.

    Set in tray.

    Cover with foil; freeze.

    When ready to serve, bake at 350° 15 minutes.
