- 12 hard rolls
- 1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 small green pepper, chopped fine
- 1/3 to 1/2 c. cooking oil
- 1 small (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Mix cheese, onion and pepper in a medium-size bowl.

3Add tomato sauce and cooking oil; then mix with spoon until all cheese mixture has been moistened.

4Slice off tops of rolls; scoop out centers.

5Spoon filling into rolls; replace tops of rolls and bake, uncovered, on a cookie sheet for 25 to 30 minutes.
