- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 ounces evaporated milk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 14 cup water
Directions

1Heat milk in medium saucepan over medium heat until scalding, but not boiling.

2Add cheese and stir until melted.

3Turn heat to low.

4Stir cornstarch into cold water.

5Add mixture to cheese and stir until thickened, approximately 5 minutes.

6Serve immediately.

7NOTE: You may wish to place prepared sauce in a crock pot or kept on the stove on the lowest setting to be kept warm if using as a dip over an extended period of time.

8Stir occasionally.
