- 2 medium sized carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 c. boiled water
- 1/2 small onion
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 c. cut up cheeses
Directions

1Chop carrots and celery; cook in boiling water about 10 minutes, until tender.

2Chop onion.

3Cook in butter until tender. Stir in flour.

4Add milk slowly; stir until smooth.

5Cook and stir until thickened.

6Add cheese, vegetables and cooking liquid; stir over low heat until cheese melts.
