  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. sliced carrots
  • 2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 c. chicken broth
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 lb. American or Velveeta cheese

Directions

    Saute celery, onion, carrots and mushrooms until tender.

    Add milk and broth and heat to boiling to thicken.
