- 8 Tbsp. oleo
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 qt. milk
- 1 lb. American cheese, cubed or sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- salt, pepper and hot sauce to taste
Directions

1Make a white sauce by melting 8 Tbsp. oleo, adding flour and slowly adding milk.

2Stir until thickened.

5Saute vegetables in 2 Tbsp. butter.

6Stir often and combine with chicken stock.

7Mix with white sauce and cheese mixture.
