- 8 to 12 slices bread (enough to have 2 layers in a 9 x 13-inch dish)
- 3/4 lb. cheese (Colby or Cheddar, your choice), sliced or crumbled
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli, spinach or asparagus, cooked and drained
- 2 c. diced cooked ham
- 6 slightly beaten eggs
- 3 1/2 c. milk
- 1 to 2 tsp. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Directions

1Grease a 9 x 13-inch dish.

2Place a layer of bread slices in dish.

3Layer cheese, vegetables

4and meat on top of bread.

5Cover with another layer of bread.

6Combine milk, eggs, onion, salt and mustard.

7Pour over the layered food in pan.

8Cover and refrigerate overnight.

9Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 55 minutes. Can sprinkle more cheese on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.

10Let sit 10 minutes before slicing.
