  • 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 c. margarine, softened
  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • garlic salt

Directions

    Grate cheese, blend with margarine and add hot sauce.

    Sift flour and add salt and pepper; mix thoroughly.

    Roll on floured board and cut into strips or put through a cookie press, using the rope tip.

    Bake at 375° until golden brown (10 to 12 minutes). Yields 4 to 5 dozen.
