Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo (room temperature)
  • 10 oz. Cracker Barrel sharp Cheddar (room temperature), shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 3 c. flour

Directions

    With hands, mix butter and cheese.

    Add in baking powder, salt, red pepper and 2 cups flour.

    Slowly add in last cup of flour (may not use all) to consistency.

    Bake at 375° until light brown.
