- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- 1/4 c. cold butter or margarine
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions

1In a bowl, mix flour, cheese and red pepper with a pastry blender or 2 knives.

2Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles fine crumbs.

3Stir in mixture of egg yolk and water. Gather dough into a ball; dust with flour.

4Wrap and refrigerate until firm.
