Ingredients

  • 3 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon
  • 3/4 tsp. almond extract

Directions

    Beat cream cheese until softened.

    Add eggs, 1 cup sugar, salt and almond extract.

    Beat until smooth and thick.

    Pour into spring pan.

    Bake in 325° oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until set. Remove from oven and cool in pan on cake rack 20 minutes (top will crack).

    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar, sour cream and vanilla.

    Pour over cooled cake.

    Return to oven and bake 10 minutes.

    Cool and then chill.
