  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. quick cooking oats
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon flavored bits
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

    Preheat oven to 400°.

    Paper line 12 muffin cups.

    In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, oats and bacon bits.

    Combine egg, milk, oil and cheese.

    Add to flour mixture.

    Mix just until dry ingredients are moistened.

    Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
