Ingredients
- 6 medium green peppers
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 4 oz. sharp cheese
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 lb. can tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp. catsup
Directions

1Cut off tops of peppers and clean out.

2Precook peppers by boiling in salted water for 5 minutes.

3Sprinkle the inside with salt.

4Saute in a skillet the beef and onions.

5Drain off fat and add other ingredients.

6Cover and simmer until tender, about 15 minutes.

7Grate cheese.

8Add to meat mixture.

9Stuff peppers and top with catsup.

10Set upright in oblong Pyrex dish.

11Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
