- 2 1/2 lb potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz diced green chilies
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tbsp butter
Directions

1Peel and cut potatoes into 1 inch cubes.

2Add to a pot covering with water at least 1 inch above potatoes.

3Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook for 10 minutes or until fork tender.

4Drain and return to pot.

5Stir in milk, butter, & garlic powder.

6Mash until smooth.

7Stir in cheese, chilies, & salt.
