- hash browns
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 2/3 c. hot water
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 2/3 c. milk
- grated cheese
Directions

1Brown ground beef.

2Stir in water, margarine and hash browns. Heat to boiling over high heat until margarine is melted.

3Reduce heat to medium high, press beef and hash browns down evenly.

4Cook uncovered, do not turn or stir until liquid is absorbed and bottom is brown.

5Cut small sections and turn sections to continue browning.

6Press firmly and continue cooking about 2 minutes or until brown.

7Remove from heat.

8Stir milk and cheese together and pour over the top.

9Do not mix together.
