Cheesy Meat Roll

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
  • generously salt and pepper
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • shredded cheese (I prefer Cheddar and Mozzarella)

Directions

    Combine hamburger, egg, green pepper and onion.

    Generously add salt and pepper.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Spread mixture onto long piece of waxed paper.

    Pat meat mixture into a thin, long rectangle.

    Spread tomato sauce over entire meat mixture. Sprinkle with helpings of cheese of your taste.

    Neatly take wax paper and begin to roll rectangle into a rolled tube.

    Place into a long dish.
