  • 1 (2 lb.) bag hash brown potatoes
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bag Cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

    Fry onion in margarine until margarine is melted. Grease 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix all ingredients and pour into pan. Top with crushed corn flakes or potato chips. Bake 1 1/2 hours, uncovered, at 400°.
