  • 2 jars Old English cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 red pepper, chopped finely
  • 1 1/4 sticks margarine
  • very thin sliced bread (Pepperidge Farm is preferred)
  • bacon, partially cooked and cut into small squares

Directions

    Cream together Old English cheese, egg, chopped pepper and margarine.

    Spread on slices of bread.
  3. 3
    Cut in quarters and cover top and sides with spread.
  4. 4
    Top with small square of partially cooked bacon.
  5. 5
    Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

    Better if frozen first.
