Ingredients

  • 1 qt. liquor (whiskey)
  • 1 qt. fresh cherries (can be unpitted)
  • 3 c. sugar (white)

Directions

    Mix well in gallon glass jar.

    Sit lid on (do not tighten lid; could explode).

    Let sit for at least 6 months, stirring occasionally.

    May return to whiskey bottle if desired.
  5. 5
    After 6 months, you may tighten lid.

    I use canning jars or jelly jars.
