  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. + 6 Tbsp. (level) cake flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • juice from cherries plus milk to make 3/4 c.
  • 4 eggs whites, beaten

Directions

    Combine all ingredients (except egg whites).

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Fold egg whites into dough.

    Bake in loaf pan for 1 hour at 350°.
