  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. orange juice
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. cherry pie filling

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Grease and flour pan (oblong).

    Put dry ingredients into bowl. Add eggs and oil.

    Mix. Add orange juice and vanilla. Mix again. Batter will be thick.

    Spread with a spoon.

    Pour half the batter into pan. Add cherries and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

    Pour remaining batter.

    Spread with spoon and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake 1/2 hour at 350°. Reduce heat to 325°.

    Bake 40 minutes longer.
